Voices of Peace

The Everyday Peace Indicators project asks communities affected by conflict how they recognise peace in daily life. Voices of Peace opens the collection of more than 21,000 statements from 22 countries to researchers, practitioners, policymakers and the public, as an interactive platform and an exhibition.

The communities of Colombia, each drawn as a dandelion.
The map filtered to indicators about armed groups, with the statements listed beside it.

Placed by meaning

Statements that say similar things sit close together, so ideas that communities share show up as clusters, even across countries. Search, themes and locations narrow the view.

One word, many meanings

Each community is drawn as a dandelion and every seed is one statement, grounded in a local context and experience instead of a national narrative.
